Hi,
Hoping someone can help me, I copied a DVD on my imac using handbrake, now I want to copy it over to my macbook air....I know I have to "share", but when I do and I can see the DVD on my air under share, it won't copy...how can I do this???

I wonder if the games/API also work with the iControlPad (http://icontrolpad.com/)?
Also, if the games detect a bluetooth controller, do they still display on-screen controls?

What a big surprise at&t nickel and diming their own customers. I was already debating about switching to verizon with their better network anyways. I think this just the push I need now I just gotta wait till iPhone 5. As a 6+ year customer I can say "screw you at&t I am out."

For some reason when I save in Illustrator cs5 to my Flash drive it gives me an error saying there was an I/0 Problem and the disk was ejected. I have tried this on a few computers. There is no problem with the flash drive because I use it with other files no problem. Has anyone eles ran into this problem?

Those Safari updates? I would expect no less!!
If Safari didn't at least keep up with FireFox, then shame Apple. At best Safari should innovate just as much as Apple claims. How about CoverFlow for cached pages?

I'd love to see Apple displace Google Maps on their iOS devices. That would be a major blow to Google and a major win for Apple and their iAd product. The more you tie maps into adverts the more personalized those adverts become. The more successful marketing campaigns. Apple can take iAds to the next level. :cool:

Are you really saying that because Japan had limited natural resources it was justified in seizing Korea, invading Manchuria, invading China, attacking the Soviets, invading Indonesia, and attacking any country that decided not to resupply Japan's war machine?

That isn't entirely true. iPhone 1,1 (and soon iPhone 1,2) users can't run all apps. Anything that requires 4.0 (probably 4.3~5.0 for iPhone 1,2) won't run. Neither will things that require a certain amount of horsepower (say like Infinity Blade).

I'm wondering how to access your battery information through cocoa (such as your battery percentage, time remaining). I know that on iOS you access it through UIDevice, but I cannot think of an equivalent one for OS X, does anyone know?

got a question.. how do i embed the music video from nek's website into a personal webpage? I have tried to use the embed code, which shows the video fine in a little window within safari.. however when i go to view it in ie 6 on any win xp machine i get a white box with an unhighlighted scroll.. so yeah, im tryin to embed the almeno stavolta video in the quicktime format..

Apple already has its own database. It dropped Google's location services with release of iOS 4.

Anyone notice the better sound in the new iMacs. Are there new speakers in there?
I haven't noticed the internal speakers being better because I don't use them, but has the sound card been changed? It sure seems to have better sound then the Early 2008 Core 2 Duo model I had before.

But that is the problem. Instant messaging has been on phones for over two years. Why would they want to sell a phone on instant messaging if everybody pretty much already has a phone with IM already? There's no reason to buy it if they're going to advertise a feature people already have it on their phones.

Yes, especially on the tiny keypad on a phone? At best, the iPhone might have a slid-out keypad, which won't make IM-ing any faster than texting.

People have already been commenting on future generations/revisions of the shuffle.
I agree with the predictions about the next revision being 2GB at the same price point. I would say that the form factor will stay the same, but maybe a stronger clip.
After that, who knows. I can also see a future shuffle having a miniature printed OLED display on it, perhaps in the middle of the play/pause button that could somehow relay which playlist you're using and a few other details.
By the end of '08, we could easily be seeing 16 and 24 GB nanos and 120/160 GB video iPods. I'm not going to make any predictions as to form factor, but I think the current aluminum tube design of the shuffle and nano will stay around for a while.
