Fivepoint- you act as if teachers make lots of money. The don't, even though they are required to have masters degrees. People understand if the belt is tight. People do NOT understand being denied the right to unionize and fight when they feel taken advantage of. NO ONE should ever be jailed for striking. Thankfully, people like him are willing to look at the facts and report honestly on the situation instead of pretending like the government can produce miracles out of thin air or that money grows on trees.

It's really great that Apple doesn't give their employees the proper information. I called the Glendale store and received a yes I can use the discounts together(Corporate). I went to the store and was told i cannot combine the discounts, but that option is available online. Apparently I was the 10th person who encountered that fun situation within 90 minutes.

And then maybe if there's enough time, I'll force them to watch Dark Planet or that episode of Battlestar Galactica 1980 where the kids go up in a tree and turn invisible and start throwing apples at the people down below and they have those ridiculous viper bikes.

Sounds like MS either is paying Adobe a small fee or they are done being scared. It is not like Acrobat reader is anything more than just a PDF reader. Something the OS as sorely needed built in.
I think that all changed when adobe was forced to publish the specifications for the PDF format a few years back.
My guess is that it has more to do with antitrust regulation, primarily in Europe. I'm surprised that they can even include a calculator as part of Windows and still sell it in the EU.

Wow. The ignorance of the average user of this forum is unbelievable, So much ranting about an app that nobody has to download if they hate ads so much.
In any case, this is no different than the many many websites, blogs , YouTube accounts etc dedicated exclusively to collect tv, radio, and paper advertising from many countries. There's a lot of people who like to see ads and analyze the creativity and technique behind them.

I remember playing around with OS X 10.3 on an iMac G4 at CompUSA. I also remember waiting for the launch of 10.4 and then the iMac G5 to make my purchase. I'm still happy with 10.4, although it is a drag that most new web browsers etc, require 10.5 and Intel. Maybe, I'll upgrade when Lion comes out.

What is odd is that Apple has these great IPS screen on the iMac, ACD and the have gone with a neutral scheme to focus on the content.
I still preferred the "pinstripes" of Mac OS 10.0, loved the eye-candy and the rainbow of colours.
Neutral is alright, just want some colour back into the GUI. Then again you will always have those who will never agree with anything. ;)

IMO the spy plane is way better then the RC car. The RC car really only benefits you and you might only get one or two kills with it. Where as the spy plan helps your whole team and I find it so much easier to get kills with spy planes up. Rarely do people bother to shoot down spy planes as well.

Everything will essentially be "take it or leave it."

But that's not at all Kanye. He is not at all ganster rap like 50 cent, the game etc. He is more political rap and I honestly don't think of him as one of the artists with a huge ego.

well guys i might be getting back up there soon. the last couple of days i've been working on my home built system, and i had it stable folding at 3.8 ghz. of course i got greedy, and am currently trying to manage 4.0 ghz. but right now heat is in the way, and i might have to take it back down a notch. we'll see

I'm not sure if this is true. According to investigative reporter Alexander Zaitchik's biography of Beck, he's not a very likable person. He went into the project thinking Beck would be sort of like Limbaugh, who even some liberals like when he's not doing his schtick.
In his early days, the guy could rant a long time, but in such a weird persuasive way as to not hit the audience with an obvious barrage of conservative garbage like older pundit Rush Limbaugh. This was however before Beck came crashing out of the conservative closet. Now he's all about being a conservative bully, but I don't know how many people remember when he was the likable type of guy who pretended to use reason in his arguments.
His star rose so fast that now he's bigger than the politicians he criticizes (or at least makes multitudes more) and he knows it.
I hate to think how many people who were on the fence got influenced by Beck, but I am sure it's far more than previous commentators were able to do. The guy is kind of like a cult leader and while some may listen to Limbaugh or Savage, they worship Beck and keep on asking him to run for president. Though he's certainly not qualified, he could move to some states, run for governor, and easily win. He's kind of like a movie star, and we all know how obviously unqualified movie stars have been able to run for governor in a state and win. I hope he stays out of politics but I have a feeling he has an ego, helped greatly by his mass fan base, which may convince him to go into politics:mad:

3. Did it change the cell phone industry = Yes, are the experts agree. Apple simply did what they always have done. They improve on a product that has already been established in most cases.
The Apple ecosystem is no more open or closed then any other system, Apple, Android, Rim, Windows etc.
If I want to do certain things with an iPhone I have to jailbreak it, same with Android it's just called rooting.
