Yes, I understand that there are differences between the two types of computers however, Is the 2360QM i7 in the Samsung be as good as the rumored processor in the iMac? I'd be looking at the 21.5 inch model. Specifically the $1200 model which is rumored to have the following

Hi Guys, Im new to the forum but thought its the best place to ask. I have a interview for the role of a Apple Creative this week and just wanted to find out what happens at these event and how to they select the right candidates if we all in one big group?

When you do a group interview, be the most outgoing, talkative and fun loving person possible. Apple wants a go getter not a sheltered person who is afraid to speak up, talk, laugh and crack jokes. If you're afraid to talk in a group setting how are you going to be able to communicate to a customer. My buddy hire's at Apple and fills me in on some of the prospects.
If it's not a group setting it will be a series of 1 on 1 interviews with a majority of the managers. Be friendly, constantly talk highly about yourself and avoid what you lack. If you hit your negatives they stick with the managers. So speak highly don't degrade anyone, interrupt them or anything. Laugh with them and as my wife says "node and smile".

You gotta admit, those are some of the fugliest and un-Mac-like applications out there.
Sorry, I meant Oracle have discontinued their Oracle database for OSX.. the last release for OSX was Oracle 10g. Oracle is now 11g.
Agreed - they aren't particularly pretty but since OO v3 things have got better with the use of Aqua. However, I'd rather them look ugly and have them not available on OSX at all...

I wonder if this also resolves the magenta-shifting of highlights that I've been experiencing with Canon EOS 1D3 and PowerShot S60 .CR2 files...

Have you tried a PRAM and/or SMC reset already?
PRAM/NVRAM has nothing to do with the OP's issue.

I'm planning on coming. I didn't pre-order so I'll get there pretty early. I'm going to call the store this week and try to find out if they have an idea of the number of phones not already sold through pre-order.
FWIW, I was walking by the store this weekend on the way to somewhere else so I popped in and I asked one of the workers if they were planning on having very many phones beyond the pre-order batch.
He did say that they were planning on having "some" but that he wasn't sure how long that batch would last hehe.

I can't figure this one out. I successfully jailbroke my 1st gen iPad after using pwnage tool and tetheredboot.
However when I open cydia and do the required updates it asks me to reboot, so I do so but it keeps on going through a boot loop.
I then put it in DFU and do the tetheredboot command in terminal but it fails every time saying:
