Hmm... an Apple website replaced by a section on iTunes... this is obviously proof that Apple intends to pull the entire World Wide Web into iTunes and create a walled garden where the entire internet is controlled by THEM, MUHAHAHA!
Good idea. They could call it the Apple Online Living-room, AOL for short. :)

Hitachi is ex-IBM, so they have the worst historical reputation.Actually not all of the Hitachi drives are off the old IBM production lines. Hitachi had their own drive business as well. Also, Hitachi has applied their own technology and resources to the forer IBM production lines.
And in truth, IBM had a couple of spectacular failures with one generation of drives that caused most of the IBM failure issues.

Hey Folks.
So today my boss mentioned that it would be really nice to use babel fish to translate our entire website much like what is being done here:
http://www.golfgolden.com/content/view/10/33/
with the babelfish box on the left side.
This actually isn't a bad idea over all, except when I try running our website (http://www.SkiBig3.com) through babel fish it breaks the DHTML drop down menus, I suspect this has to do with the fact that babelfish sticks the site into a frame but I'm wondering if anyone has or knows of a work around for this??
Babelfish is an abomination, useful only for laughs. Here's a paragraph from a German news website (FAZ.net) translated into English.
"Because on 22 July officials shot the innocent Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes, whom they had regarded as a terrorist. For Blair however the reproaches, it are more serious an independent investigation of the "Independent policy Complaints Commission" in the case Menezes to stop wanted."

Then you might get to see it by the end of the day. It varies. For us in the UK, we'll most likely have to wait till Wednesday.

Im tired of listening to a 5500 rpm fan in my ear... at least it is cool!

I was stocking games today at work and I noticed a few games that are new release.
Wii:
Godfather
Cooking Mama
Blazing Angels
PS2 and PSP:
Test Drive Unlimited (YESSS!!!)
PS3:
Godfather
And a few other NDS games. Forgot what they were.
Anybody know about these titles specifically the Wii ported games?

The word "New" is all over this ebay listing. I see that in the top area it shows refurb, but this listing seems to be a little misleading. One of your headings even says "Brand New." This combined with using an actual iPhone box that didnt come with this item seems shady to me. I may be the only one, but honestly i guarentee that who ever wins this item thinks they are getting an actual brand new phone, not a refurbished product.

Hello everyone,
I am new to Objectvice C and just started learning it.
The situation that I cannot resolve is pretty trivial, I am sure there is something simple I am missing. I created Fraction.m class in my test project in XCode using Source -> Add -> New File ->Objectvie C Class. I filled the .h file with the members and implemented all of them in the *m file. Afterwards I am trying to instantiate this Fraction class in my Program.h class in the main function.
I tried to include the .h file through #import <Fraction.h> directive but I get compiler error "No such file ore directory". Also whenever I am trying to use Fraction class, I get compiler error that Fraction is not defined. Though intellisense in the XCode code editor is seeing both "Fraction.h" and Fraction class. I am sure that there are no compilation errors in the Fraction.h and Fraction.m.
Thanks.

That's normal that you mostly see people posting about their problems or they want to bitch about something. You know, it's kinda like this: sunny weather and nice breeze don't make a headline :)
The idea behind iMac is that you just take it out of the box, plug it in and within a couple of mins, you're on the internet and doing your own thing. There are people who want to push hardware and software to their limit, but again, that's actually minority among iMac users.

I wonder why they picked "Allume" as their new name.
A few years ago, a US law went though that makes it easier to sue for trademark dilution (which is when a "famous" trademark holder feels that its image is threatened by another product or business using the same name, even if there is no product overlap). "Stuffit" and close variations are in use out there for other things, so the name isn't as string as it might be.
Made-up words like Allume are easier to protect exactly because they're made up; it pretty much eliminates the "common words" defense and it's a lot less likely that someone else will have invented the same word.
The other part of the story is that Aladdin were initially fighting to keep the name, but after they were bought by IMSI, the new parent company didn't want the legal expenses.

There's a new iMac coming your way in the near future.
They likely don't have any refurb 2008 iMacs fitting the specs of your model, so you'll get a new one. :)
Try to back up that HDD if you can though!

I sent my 15" PB to service because of the horizontal lines issue. They replaced the LCD screen, and yes, the lines are still there, but fainter. Now it seems though as my Airport won't work. What could be wrong?
Without knowing more about your situation, I would suggest that you re-setup your airport from your PB15 using the utility.
Of course you will need to know the original settings for your ISP before you try this.

Based on the database-driven backend, and reading through the online manual, I doubt there is a limit on the number of levels he can define.
So we'll just have to wait and see. :)
Intresting... so couldn't we have custom titles or something?
Or more titles...
I figured here would be the most appropriate thread to post my 2,000th post. :)
And there was much rejoicing. *Yaaaaay...*
Congratulations. :)
