Hi,
I heard that USCIS revoked the I140s for all the applicants who were employee of certain company as the company was fraud. In this case what happens? I have a very genuine case but I think my company may be doing some weird things.

Exception 4 - have a question around this statement: For German transit VISA

do not need transit VISA.
Does that mean if you are travelling from India to US (with valid US Visitor VISA) u need a transit VISA.
Above exception seem to appy only if u are travelling to country that issued u the VISA (india), but in this case we are travelling from that Country to US.

The correct answer would be differed on the basis of your current status.
Are you currently H1 holder or H4 holder?
what H1 and H4 has to do? Once you start using EAD..your current status has no impact. On EAD, you can do multiple jobs but similiar description.

The filter is an excellent suggestion, Gary - I prefer to do things in-camera. I did not take later shots, so I can't sandwich them. The reds were extremely short lived, and clouds were moving in (and it was freezing), but I'll remember to get a couple of different exposures for next time.

Once your I-140 is approved with your current employer, with the copy of your 140 approval, your new employer can file for a 3 yr H1 extension. Though it is safe to do so after you get your 3 yr H1 extension based on approved 140 from the current employer and then change jobs, this is also another option which is seldom tried by applicants...But it does work as I have seen some of my friends do so. So the key for you is to get your pending 140 cleared asap......and then ask your new employer to file for your 3 yr H1 extension in premium processing and only resign from your current job after getting H1 approved....Ofcourse, this option only works if you can secure a copy of your I-140 approval from your current employer...Else, go with option 3....

No necessarily protected. Anyone who overstays their I-94 is removable (deportable). However, some people can contest that in removal proceedings. One basis to contest a removal order is because the foreign national is married to a US citizen and/or has an Adjustment of Status pending.
The problem with VWP entrants is that they sign away their rights to contest a removal order, even if married to a US citizen (unless they claim asylum). Worse - they can be removed without a hearing in immigration court, simply by an order of the local District Director. In theory, a VWP entrant who overstayed could file for permanent residence and be issued a removal order and put in detention when s/he turned up for the marriage interview at the District Office.
I don't mean to terrify you, and most district offices do approve cases filed by VWP entrants, but please check with a local attorney before filing anything.

Sorry i keep on asking same questions again and again. I could not find any answer for that. What should I fill in "date of application" for priviously applied I-765, it should be date from EAD when they approved it or should it be the the date on which they received my application.
Also what should I fill in the
"Please provide information concerning your eligibility status"
Please suggest.
I put application date as when ever I signed the form and dated it. I think its no big deal, if you attach copy of previous EAD...

here is the deal:
if Durbin wants to pass the DREAM act he will need Cornyn support. If Cornyn wants to pass his SKILL act he will need Durbin support. Now we all know that on its own Cornyn will never support the DREAM act and Durbin will never support the SKILL bill. The question is will they be able to cut a deal and support each others bills. The answer is maybe. Note that about a month ago there was a vote on the SKILL bill and it didnt pass simply because no Democrat voted for it. It is not because no democrat supports the bill but because of partisan tactics. There was simply no bill on the Democrats side to offset the Cornyn amedment so they decided to bring it down. We should not wait for CIR.
If it happens its great, but if it does not, then we should have plans ready now. There needs to be effort with the new administration for administrative relief and also to continue the dialog with USCIS and DOL that we have now. We also need to meet lawmakers again in the new congress and see any opportunities for us. All background work needs to happen long before there is even a mention of CIR timeline by lawmakers.

International Airports. Be watchful when ever you give your passport to Immigration/ Customs/Air India staff. The pass port can be easily tampered and can create trouble to you. They have found easy way of making money from NRIs. This is the way it works:
At the time of the passenger's departure, if the passenger is not looking at the officer while he is stamping the exit, the officer very cleverly tears away one of the page from the passport. When the passenger leaves the immigration counter, the case is reported on his computer terminal with full details. On arrival next time, he is interrogated. Similar case has happened with Aramco's Arifuddin. He was travelling with his family. They had six passports. They got the visa of America and decided to go via Hyderabad from Jeddah. They reached Hyderabad. Stayed about a month and left for the States. When they reached the States, the page of the American visa on his wife's passport
was missing. At the time of departure from Hyderabad it was there, the whole family had to return to Hyderabad helplessly. I don't think she can have both H4 & EAD. But once she started working on EAD and got paystub....Paid taxes etc.....I'm sure her status will be EAD and no H4 furthur...By any chance if USCIS got hold of it. Might cause problem for her 485 approval.
USCIS gives whatever we ask for. We should be careful and take advise from Attorneys. Not one 2-3 Attorneys as some of the attorneys have limit knowledge. Best suggestions your Employer if he has good knowledge.....As they might have seen lot of cases for their employers.

just wanted to confirm one thing again ..does this mean we should definitely be getting our EAD's ?? also I would urge all members to be active with IV ..till we get citizenships and even after that ..spread the word !! if we are united we can get things done ...

Interesting. I haven't calibrated mine yet - I'm waiting for my new printer and then will do them both together (or I may replace the monitor too). On mine current one it looks fine - lots of detail and highlights in the area that was blacked out before. It is certainly a difference between monitors and also probably a bit of personal preference. Here is another version reducing the intensity of the FM shadow reduction which does give a washed out look if overdone. The first one used an intensity of 5. this one uses a three.
By the way - do you use autofocus when shooting on the 500 + 1.4 TC? I am trying out a 1.4tc now on my 1-400Lis. While it gives TTL metering there is no autofocus with the tc.

It is not mandatory to join GC sponsor company while it is under process but it is mandatory to join after approval. Better to consult an attorney.
